Events
Levanto is a lively town, dedicated to promoting its historical, cultural, and culinary traditions. Among the most significant events is the Festa del Mare, established in 1968 in honor of Saint James the Apostle. It takes place on July 24 and 25 with historical parades, medieval tournaments, a solemn procession, and spectacular fireworks. The most evocative moment is the illumination of the gulf with ten thousand floating candles and the laying of a wreath at sea in memory of the fallen.
