The Sea of Levanto
Levanto, located between the Cinque Terre and the province of Genoa, is an ideal destination for windsurfing, surfing, and bodyboarding enthusiasts. Over the past ten years, its fame has grown due to unique conditions in Italy, with Double Over Head waves exceeding twice the height of a person. These waves, which can reach up to 4 meters in winter, form with strong southwesterly winds entering the gulf.
Diving
The sea of Levanto is a favorite destination for scuba diving enthusiasts. There are over twenty diving spots available, offering options to meet the needs of both beginners and experienced divers. Near the Gulf, there are several wrecks, primarily military ships sunk during World War II, which can be explored through organized dives.
